Debby and Michael contacted me months ago to shoot their pre wedding shoot in Santorini. I was lucky enough to spend quite some time this year in Santoini shooting weddings, pre weddings and holding one of my workshops for wedding photographers in Santorini. As i was there, it just so happened to fall into the perfect time that Debby and Michael wanted to shoot the pre wedding. In actual fact, this is their post wedding shoot as they already got married in Hong Kong but now live in Jacksonville USA. However, they made contact with me as they understand me, we met in Santorini and had an amazing time shooting. Every couple is different from the last. I know it is a bit of a cliche but it is true, well it is for me because i shoot people and not a shot list. I love connecting with people and if your a past client of mine, you will know my clients are my friends. My home is always open to my clients, i love them like friends. Debby and Michael accepted me straight away over pre shoot dinner on the Island and we all hit it off, i knew the shoot would just be amazing. I sat back and watched their body language towards each other, saw how they express love towards each other and focused on that and not so much of the location beauty when real beauty was there for the grabbing. Anyway, ill stop going on about love and all that jazz and you can enjoy their images. However, before i finish, my only advice, and i give this to all of my students, is to think of yourself when you shoot. Remember what you have been through and the things you love in your life. Think of who loves you and how you would want those people remembered in an image. Not every image needs to be epic in its creative content. Sure express how you see and use your tools as a vehicle to achieve that but also remember that everyone has a story, a past and a future.
I might also add that Michael has a better camera than i do, he loves photography also, so it seems. He actually has a Leica M9, the camera i have wanted for some time, so it was only right i shoot him shooting Debby ;)

This set is amazing! Your images have made me fall in love with santorini without haven’t actually been! You definately tell a story and your clients will truly treasure your work. Your work has real soul. Might I add Adam is correct in saying his clients become his friends, he won’t get rid of me that easy that’s for sure :) I love your little stories at the beginning they are so meaningful and sometimes funny! Love it!
Gorgeous!!!!
